PSPCL gets Rs 61.85 lakh for increasing power load

Amritsar, July 21

The PSPCL (border zone) got Rs61.85 lakh from 528 consumers for increasing their power load by 1,222 horse power during camps held in all subdivisions on Sunday.

Sandeep Kumar, chief engineer, PSPCL, said these camps were held to felicitate the consumers who wanted to regularise their increased power load. As many as 88 consumers of Amritsar Sub-urban increased the power load by 238 horse power by depositing Rs11.78 lakh. A total of 373 consumers of Gurdaspur deposited Rs40.96 lakh to increase 8,315 horse power load.— TNS
