The department of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Amandeep Medicity hospital in partnership with Ujala Cygnus, successfully hosted a premier medical conference focused on the latest advances in pulmonary medicine. The conference featured a stellar line-up of speakers, including Dr SK Chhabra, Senior Chest Consultant and former Professor, Patel Chest Institute, Delhi; Dr Parvaiz Kaul, former Professor and Director, SKIMS, Sri Nagar; Dr Arjun Khanna, DM Pulmonary Medicine, Director and HOD, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad; Dr Pawan Gupta, Consultant Pulmonologist, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, BLK Max Hospital, Delhi; and Dr Gagan, Director and HOD, Radiology Department, Amandeep Medicity, Amritsar.

The conference covered a range of topics, including spirometry, radiology in obstructive airway disease (OAD), biologicals and recent advances in asthma, advances in bronchiectasis and recent advances in COPD vaccinations. "The conference aimed to provide a comprehensive update on the latest advances in obstructive airway disease (asthma, COPD) with a focus on function, imaging, advances and immunity," said Dr Mandeep Singh, Director, Pulmonary and Critical Care, Amandeep Medicity. The conference was attended by a large gathering of pulmonologists, critical care specialists and other healthcare professionals from across the region.
