Samagra Shiksha seminar held at DIET, Kairon

An orientation seminar for safety and security under the Samagra Shiksha programme was organised at DIET, Kairon, on Friday. The programme was held under the supervision and guidance of District Education Officer (Secondary) Satnam Singh Bath and DIET principal Mangat Singh.

The seminar was attended by Block Nodal Officers and Block Elementary Education Officers. Tehsildar Amritpal Kaur, ASI Harvinder Singh from the Traffic Department, Neha Nayyar from the Legal Department, Narinder Singh and District Guidance Counsellor from Education Department Sukhbir Singh Kang were among those who addressed the gathering.

The speakers shed light on the various aspects of safety and security. Mangat Singh said that all teachers must regularly attend such training programmes to provide right information to the students.
