Amritsar: Five prisoners were booked for scuffling with others inmates inside the jail complex. They were identified as Harmanbir Singh alias Harman, Manak Singh alias Sunny, Karanbir Singh, Gurwinder Singh and Shamsher Singh. Balwinder Singh, assistant superintendent of Central jail, said the accused clashed with each other yesterday thereby violating the jail rules and therefore a complaint was lodged against them. All suspects were booked under Section 52 of the Prisons Act. TNS

The conference was organised under the aegis of the Punjab Orthopedic Association.
