Sports contests held in Dhotian village

Sports competitions dedicated to the festive occasion of Hola Mohalla were held in Dhotian village on Sunday. A football match was played between Sarhali and Dhotian village teams in which the Dhotian team emerged winners defeating Sarhali.

Similarly, in the handball match played between the Tarn Taran and Amritsar teams, the former emerged victorious. Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar distributed prizes to the winning teams.

Harjinder Singh, Inspector Narinder Singh, coach Saroop Singh, Chairman Ravinder Singh Gill and others, addressed the youth and encouraged them to pay attention to sports.

A special religious congregation was also organised in the village on the occasion of Hola Mohalla, in which the Sangat listened to Guru Shabad by the Raagi, Kirtani and Dhadi jathas.
