Taxi driver found murdered

Amritsar, November 23

Parminder Singh (23), a resident of Chhajalwaddi village, was found murdered a few meters from his residence on Friday evening. Parminder worked a taxi driver. Narinder Singh, father of the deceased, told the police that Parminder used to run a taxi which they had bought on instalments. He said his son usually returned around 9 pm. He said when his son did not return on Friday, they started searching for him. They found his taxi parked on the roadside and his body was lying in a pool of blood nearby. There were marks of injury from a sharp weapon marks on his neck. The police have registered a case under Section 302 of the IPC.
