Amritsar: DAV International School organised a glitzy Teacher’s Day function here on Saturday. Dr Ramesh Kumar Arya, vice-president, DAV managing committee, New Delhi, and Dr J P Shoor (director PSI and aided schools) of DAVCMC, New Delhi presided over the event as chief guests. School chairman VP Lakhanpal, regional officer Neelam Kamra and Indrapal Arya too illumined the occasion with their graceful presence. Amritsar: The PG Department of Punjabi, DAV College, organised a caption writing contest under the Punjabi Literary Club on Saturday. As many as 60 students participated in the event with zeal and enthusiasm.
