According to sources, the two accused blended in with the guests by dressing smartly in formal suits. Taking advantage of the busy festivities, they fled with a bag containing cash and jewellery belonging to the groom’s family before anyone realized what had happened. The theft came to light only after the marriage palace management reviewed CCTV footage and seized the recordings for further investigation.

A large number of guests from both the bride’s and groom’s sides were present when the shagun bag suddenly went missing. After repeated attempts to locate it failed, anxiety spread among the family members. The groom’s family then approached the palace management, which promptly reviewed the CCTV cameras.

The footage revealed two unidentified youths roaming suspiciously around the venue. Both were seen mingling with guests while scanning the surroundings. Later, the cameras captured them.
