Three arrested with illicit weapons in Amritsar

Investigations are on to ascertain the source of weapons, says police

The Amritsar city Police Commissionerate have arrested three persons for illegally possessing firearms. According to the police, Ravinder Singh alias Kaka of Ghanupur Kale and Ashish aka Bholu of Dayanand Nagar area have been arrested for allegedly possessing a .32 bore pistol with four bullets and .9mm glock pistol with two rounds, respectively.

A case under the Arms Act has been registered at the Chheharta police station as the duo could not provide any documents regarding the seized weapons. The police said investigations were on to ascertain the source of weapons.

In a similar case, Sandeep Singh alias Bhadkila has been arrested and a .32 bore pistol, along with two live cartridges, has been seized from his possession.
