AMRITSAR: A health club owner and his brother were allegedly assaulted by several persons over a minor issue of bike parking by his clients outside the residents of the accused in Ajnala.

A health club owner and his brother were allegedly assaulted by several persons over a minor issue of bike parking by his clients outside the residents of the accused in Ajnala.

Those booked have been identified as Kammy, his father Girdaur Singh, Sahib Singh and 12 unknown persons, all residents of Maqbool Shah road, Ajnala. A case under Sections 452, 427, 324, 380, 148 and 149 of the IPC was registered against them while no arrest has been made till now.

Charanjit Singh of the same area said the accused barged into their club and thrashed them besides ransacking the club. He, along with his brother, was admitted to a hospital. The incident occurred on June 8 while a case was registered on Tuesday after getting medical reports.
