Tarn Taran: The Goindwal Sahib police on Thursday arrested two of the four members of the vehicle lifters’ gang and recovered two stolen bikes from them. A police party led by ASI Naresh Kumar said the arrested members have been identified as Shamsher Singh Shera and Lovepreet Singh Suraj of Fatehbad, while their accomplices Agyapal Singh and Sandeep Singh Sanni, both of Bhail Dhai Wala village, managed to flee. Two stolen motorcycles were recovered from them. A case under Sections 379, 411, 473 and 201 of the IPC has been registered against them. The gang members used to sell stolen bikes with fake registration certificates, the ASI said. OC
