Wheelchairs to be given to needy

Local MP Gurjit Singh Aujla has announced to provide wheelchairs to the physically challenged persons.

These will be given in association with the district Health Department from the MPLADS fund. Aujla has asked the needy to contact the Civil Surgeon’s office to avail the facility.

Civil Surgeon Dr Hardeep Singh Ghai said the wheelchairs would be provided free of cost to the needy.

The Civil Surgeon said patients with spinal injuries were often unable to walk and had to face many hardships.
