The latest trend ‘SareeTwitter’ has dug out an old 15-second video clip of a woman sprinting towards the pitch to kiss the then 22-year-old batsman Brijesh Patel during the India-West Indies Test in 1975.
The woman, wearing a black saree, dodged all the police personnel and went to plant a kiss on Patel, and then went away, smiling.
A Twitter user posted the video with #SareeTwitter and mentioned that it can’t be beaten.

She definitely wasn't saree about what she did.

As far as Patel is concerned, he played quite a few games, donning the national colours. He made his international debut in a Test match versus England in Manchester where he could only manage eight runs.
Twitter reactions:
@itpoojaverma have we gone back to the dark ages in modern times. Look at the bravado of women here in this clip.
