Youth falls from train, dies

Kangra, July 20

A 20-year-old youth, after falling from a train, succumbed to his injuries at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda, on Thursday evening.

Yudvir Singh, SHO, Kangra railway police station, said the train from Jogindernagar was on its way to Pathankot when a youth, identified as Chanchal, a resident of Amb Jawali, fell down from the Pathankot-bound train near Megrajpura railway station and was injured seriously. He was rushed to Nagrota Surian hospital where doctors referred him to the DRPGMC, Tanda. He died at Tanda hospital. — OC
