2-year-old falls off stairs, dies

A two-year-old girl died after falling from the stairs of a play school here today.

The deceased has been identified as Tejal Chauhan, a resident of Lalru.

Sulakhan Singh, investigating officer, said the incident occurred when the minor girl, who had gone to the playway school, accidentally fell from the stairs while playing.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The family members did not lodge any complaint in this connection, said the investigating officer.
