3 flights from city delayed

Chandigarh, May 10

Three flights from the local airport to Sharjah, Mumbai and Delhi were delayed today. According to an airport spokesperson, the flights arrived late from their source destinations, which caused a delay in their departure.

One of the flights, an Air India flight to Sharjah, was delayed by almost an hour and a half. “The Pakistani airspace is still shut for us, so the flights from Sharjah have to take another route, which takes longer,” said the spokesperson.

The other flights which were delayed was an Air India flight to Mumbai and a Vistara flight to Delhi. — TNS
