CBSE Class X results declared on Tuesday had many in the city celebrating. Amritsar Public school students received 100% result with Jashanpreet Singh standing first in the school with 97.4%, Harmanjeet Kaur second with 96.2% and Kervender Kaur Oberoi third.

School chairman BS Sethi, general secretary Manjit Singh Bindra, director DK Rahi and principal GK Oberoi congratulated the students and teachers for their performance.

St Soldier Elite Convent School’s 94 students bagged first division, 72 students scored more than 70% marks and 21 students over 80% in the examination. Lovepreet Kumar stood first with 93.2%, Komalpreet Kaur stood second with 92.8% and Mehakdeep Kaur bagged third position with 92.6%.

Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti enterprises, also celebrated the success of its students. Satya Bharti Adarsh Senior Secondary Schools located in the rural heartlands of Punjab secured a pass percentage of 89%. Balkomal Kaur from Satya Bharti Adarsh Senior Secondary School, Rauni, Ludhiana, was declared as the topper with overall 97.2%. Pradeep Kaur from Satya Bharti Adarsh Senior Secondary School, Village Fattubhila, Amritsar was declared as the topper with overall 94.6%.
