Simran Kaur bags gold in long jump

Simran Kaur of Moga bagged a gold medal in long jump with a distance 5.07 meters on the penultimate day of Punjab State Games for Girl’s, under–17, at Guru Nanak Stadium, here today.

Namneet Kaur of Bathinda won silver with 4.51m where as Sukhvir Kaur of Jalandhar had to satisfy with bronze as she covered the distance of 4.45m.

In 400m category, Charanveer Kaur of Jalandhar won gold clocking 58.82 second, Navdeep Kaur from Ludhiana won silver in 1:00.28 minutes whereas Amandeep Kaur of Moga got bronze in 1:02.10 minutes.— TNS
