Nissan has unveiled the design of its most-awaited SUV in India. The new Nissan ‘Kicks’ sports a unique wider and robust style underlined by a dynamic sonic plus line, wheel-oriented stance and a distinctive 3-dimensional presence.

The body is designed and built with graphene body structure, which has inherent capability to absorb impact energy making it stronger, safer and durable on Indian roads.

Isuzu Motors rolls out new Isuzu MU-X

Isuzu Motors has launched its new ISUZU MU-X in India. Cricketing legend Jonty Rhodes launched the new car with his family. It is available at an attractive price of Rs 26,26,842 for the 4x2 variant. The 4x4 variant is priced at Rs 28,22,959  (ex-showroom, Hyderabad).

Signature Global launches housing project in Karnal

Delhi-based realty major Signature Global has launched affordable housing project - Signature Global City in Karnal. The group will develop premium apartments with value pricing under Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojna. The company plans to invest Rs 450 crore to develop the project. It is spread across 30 acres and offers 1,626 units in various sizes. 

Grecian hospital observes World Trauma Day

Grecian Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali, observed World Trauma Day on October 17. The programme was aimed at showcasing the need to prevent deaths and disabilities caused by road accidents. Dr Jaya Sharma, head and consultant emergency department, talked on the topic "Take Action, Prevent Injuries and Trauma, Save Lives." Over 50 people attended the session. 

IndianOil’s LPG bottling plant at Leh gets big boost

The world’s highest LPG bottling plant in Leh run by IndianOil has been upgraded with the addition of six mounded storage vessels of 300 metric tonnes each. IndianOil's Director (Marketing) Gurmeet Singh inaugurated the augmented facility recently. With Leh being cut-off for six months in a year and demand rising exponentially in the winter season, there was a need to augment its storage capacity.

Reaffirming its commitment towards encouraging self-employment and entrepreneurship in the region, Tata Motors displayed its most successful small commercial vehicles range of products at the recently held 8th edition of Krishi Darshan Expo, Hisar, 2018. NFL bags national award in cost management

NFL has won national award in cost management from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. The award was received by Manoj Mishra, CMD, and RK Chandiok, Director (Finance), from Union Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal at a ceremony held in New Delhi recently.  The award was conferred for the successful implementation of cost management strategies which resulted in the reduction of unproductive costs on various fronts.

Union Bank of India unveils contactless debit cards

Union Bank of India has launched its top variant among the debit cards for prestigious customers - Visa Signature Contactless Debit Card. It has higher withdrawal and purchase limits. This card eliminates the requirement of carrying separate cards for transit payments (bus, metro, cab etc.), toll, parking, small value offline retail payments as well as normal day to day retail payments. 

CEAT launches Gripp X3 range of tyres for bikes

CEAT has launched its new range of Gripp X3 tyres for motorcycle segment. With its 'everlasting grip', the tyre continues to maintain the same level of grip on the road throughout its lifetime. In the initial phase, the tyres will be available for 100-125 cc bikes. 

Canadian HR body recognises SBMC campus at Mohali

Susan Ryan, chairperson and CFO, Canada HR Association, CPHR, and Baldev Gill, COO, CPHR (British Columbia and Yukon) visited the SBMC Campus in Mohali recently to train its students and address the scope of HR training (CPHR). This is the first time that the HR association of BC & Yukon, Canada, has recognised any training and testing partner in India.
