Unidentified youth’s body found in Panipat village

Panipat, July 27

The body of a 24-year-old unidentified youth was found near a minor canal in Samalkha on Friday.

In a complaint to the police, Shamsher of Kuhad Pana area in Samalkha stated that he had agricultural land adjoining the canal. He saw the body of a youth with slit throat lying under eucalyptus trees near the canal and a bicycle was lying near the body, he said.

After getting information, a police team reached the spot and sent the dead body for a post-mortem examination.

Samalkha DSP Naresh Ahlawat said a case of murder had been registered against unknown person and they were trying to identify the youth. — TNS
