Cancer-free, Rishi returns

Rishi Kapoor is back in Mumbai after completing his treatment of cancer in NYC. The actor was spotted at Mumbai airport with wife Neetu Kapoor on Tuesday morning and the happiness on his face just reflected his joy of coming back to his country. Sharing his gratitude for all the love and support, Rishi Kapoor took to his Twitter and wrote, “BACK HOME!!!!!! 11 Months 11days! Thank you all!” During his treatment period in New York, many celebs including, Anupam Kher, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and even Ambani family had visited him.

Speaking about his cancer, Rishi Kapoor in a recent interaction said, “I had a marrow problem. I had to get it rectified. There was nothing serious as such. But you can’t fly long hours so I had to be here. I went through treatment and thankfully, it was successful.”
