Kataria denies differences with Anil Vij

In the wake of reports in a section of the media that there are differences between Ambala MP Rattan Lal Kataria and Health and Sports Minister Anil Vij, the former today chose to clarify that there were none.

Speaking to mediapersons at Saha today, Kataria said Vij was a nationalist and he respected him for that. He claimed that those who spoke of differences between the two leaders were trying to find fissures within the BJP as they were afraid of the developmental policies being followed in the state. “As those in the opposition were left with no political issues to target the BJP, they were cooking up stories of differences to harm the party”, Kataria claimed.

Kataria, who was here to oversee the preparations for the October 9 Deen Dayal Upadhyay training camp, said such camps were being organised across the country and these aimed at propagating the party’s policies and programmes amongst the workers.

It is to be mentioned that a few months ago Kataria got angry during a press conference in Ambala City when mediapersons asked him questions about Anil Vij. Kataria had then categorically told mediapersons that it was his press conference and objected to the questions related to Anil Vij.

The video of the said press conference again came into circulation a few days ago. Following this video, kataria was compelled today to spike speculation that all was not well between the two leaders.
