The CBSE, in a circular, has asked school heads to encourage the students to take part in the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan, a programme for educating and popularising science among students.
Vigyan Prasar, National Institute for Science and Technology Communication, in association with the NCERT and Vijnana Bharati, an NGO led by eminent scientists, is conducting the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) for Class VI-XI students.
The aim of the competition is to promote scientific temperament among school-going children as well as to create interest for science. Students will be felicitated with prizes and certificates. — TNS
