Police officials said the BSF personnel were heading towards the Chandigarh Club from where the marathon, organised by a bank, was to be flagged off.
Sources said the Skoda car hit the rear door of the BSF vehicle following which it overturned. The Skoda car was also badly damaged.
Passersby rushed to the rescue of the personnel. The police were informed about the accident. All injured were rushed to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16.
