Anju, Pratyaksh win in chess

Chandigarh: Anuj claimed the first position in the 18th Chess Tournament. Prithu finished second and Pradeep claimed the third position. In the U-17 category, Pratyaksh won the title, followed by Swastik Sin second position and Ekaaksha in third position.

Anuj claimed the first position in the 18th Chess Tournament. Prithu finished second and Pradeep claimed the third position. In the U-17 category, Pratyaksh won the title, followed by Swastik Sin second position and Ekaaksha in third position. In the open girls' category, Nikita, Shresthi and Tushita claimed the top three positions, respectively. MP Verma won the veteran category title. In the boys' U-12 event, Tanmay, Harshit and Aadit were the winners.  In the girls' category, Saanvi, Samisha and Varnika shinesd at top three positions.—TNS
