City boys blank NCC NER 3-0

Government Model High School, Sector 42, blanked NCC NER 3-0 to win their second successive match in the Subroto Cup International Football Tournament in New Delhi today.

The side had started their campaign with a 3-1 win over MP Sports College, Uttarakhand, yesterday.   

Earlier, defending champions Unique Model Academy, Manipur, notched up 6-0 win over Air Force School.

Y Monis scored a hat-trick (5th, 26th, 47th), while Ibochouba (10th), Ibopishak (15th) and Akash (37th) added a goal each to the Manipur school’s tally.

After playing out a goalless draw against Greenwood School, Manipur, yesterday, 

Bangladesh Krida Shiksha Protishthan (BKSP) steamrolled Vishwas Nav Sharda School, Fatehabad, 9-0 today.

Nur Alam scored five goals for BKSP. He struck in the 11th, 17th, 28th, 45th and 56th minutes of the match. Multalim scored thrice (14th, 18th, 50th), while Turiqul (40th) struck once for the side.

Meghalaya’s District War Sepngi Christian Higher Secondary School defeated Sanskaar Valley School, Madhya Pradesh, 13-0, while Mizoram’s Saidan Secondary School routed Dr YSR Sports School, Andhra Pradesh, 13-1. 

Kerala’s GOHS Edathanattuara registered a 6-0 win over Sainik School, IPSC, while Chattisgarh’s Ramkrishna Mission Vivekanand Vidyapeeth blanked Maharashtra High School and College 7-0. New Delhi’s Mamta Modern Senior Secondary School played out 1-1 draw against Sainik School, Jharkhand.
