Mohali, January 23
Flight operations remained mildly disrupted at the Chandigarh International Airport with one flight grounded and three delayed due to flypast parade as part of Republic Day rehearsals at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport at Delhi.
Airport sources said Jet Airways flight to Delhi (9W 2665/2666) was cancelled. Two Jet Airways flights, 9W 2651/2658 to Delhi, and 9W2262/2163 to Jaipur, were delayed. One Air Asia flight departed half an hour late.
Kullu flight to resume soon
The airport sources said Air India Chandigarh-Kullu-Chandigarh flight, which had been suspended temporarily due to fog, is likely to resume operations next month. CHIAL PRO Deepesh Joshi said no official intimation had been received from Air India in this regard. — TNS
