Ishaan Sihag wrapped up the 14th Ashwani Gupta Memorial District Badminton Championship with four gold medals. Playing at Tau Devi Lal Stadium here on Tuesday, Sihag drubbed Agastya Raghav 21-6 21-5 to win the boys’ U-13 title before packing off his opponent 21-15 21-14 in the boys’ U-15 final. The budding shuttler then downed Yuvam Gupta 21-13 21-8 to claim the U-17 title.

Sihag also won the boys’ U-13 doubles title in company of Raghav. The duo tamed Kabir and Divyam 21-7 21-7 in the final.

Meanwhile, in the girls’ U-13 doubles final, Ruchi Chahal and Ananya humbled Bhavna Chahal and Akanksha 21-10 21-14. Devika and Ridhi Kaur Toor won the U-17 doubles title after beating Vineeta and Nikita 21-7 21-12 in the final.

In the girls’ U-13 singles final, Ruchi registered a 21-15 21-15 win over Ananya. She, however, lost 6-21 13-21 to Rijul in the U-15 title clash. 

Devika, meanwhile, won both the girls’ U-17 and women’s titles. In the U-17 final, she defeated Rijul 21-9 21-2, while in the women’s title clash, Devika overcame Ridhi Kaur Toor 21-16 21-15. 

In the men’s singles final, Deepak Khatri dominated Mayank Taya 21-9 21-14. 

Mukul and Nikita won the U-19 mixed doubles title. The duo beat Aditya and Aarti 21-14 21-15 in the final. 

Deepak and Arun prevailed 21-18 10-21 21-15 over Saurabh and Vishant in the men’s doubles final.
