World Education Summit & Awards-2019 was presented to Satluj Public School, Panchkula, for being the best public school with faculty and pedagogy in Haryana. The award was presented by Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Civil Aviation, Government of India. Chairman of the Satluj Group of Schools, Pritam Singh Serai, was also present on the occasion. 

Edustar Adarsh, Kalewal

An orientation programme for parents of Nursery students was organised at Edustar Adarsh School, Kalewal. Nursery teachers shared their vision with the parents. The parents later interacted with the class teachers. The programme concluded with a message to parents to spend more time with their children to improve parent-child relation.

Jainendra Public, Panchkula

The management of Jainendra Public School gave away new book sets free of cost to all needy students of Classes I to VIII. A special assembly was also held in which new students introduced themselves by giving the account of how they liked the school.

Shishu Niketan, Chandigarh

NCC cadets of Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22-D, Chandigarh, brought laurels to the school by bagging three of the total five scholarships by Cadet Welfare Society for the session 2018-19. The scholarships worth Rs 6,000 each is awarded on the basis of academic as well as NCC performance throughout the session. Principal Amita Khorana congratulated the students.

Sri Guru Harkrishan, Chandigarh

Sri Guru Harkrishan Model School, Sector 38, Chandigarh, organised an interactive session on ‘Good health, good life’ to celebrate the World Health Day. Students were made aware of the ill-effects of eating junk and unhygienic food. Slogan writing, banner making and poster-making competitions were also organised.
