Phooljahan’s seven-point effort helped Coaching Centre Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19, beat Coaching Centre, Sector 42, 20-16 and win the 32nd Junior State Handball Championship at Guru Nanak Khalsa School, Sector 30, here, on Wednesday.
Coaching Centre Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 23, bagged the third position.
In the boys’ final, Coaching Centre DAV, Sector 8, defeated hosts Guru Nanak Khalsa School 16-13. Rahul (8 points) was the top scorer for DAV.
