Traffic lights go Kaput in Panchkula

THE photograph taken at the Sector 7/8/17/18 roundabout (Shahid Major Sandeep Sagar Chowk) in Panchkula displays the unduly prolonged non-functional traffic signals. Mind you, the usual ‘absence’ of traffic cops at this spot adds more fuel to the fire even as the authorities concerned remain oblivious to their onerous responsibilities. But what about the precious public money spent on the initial installation thereof at this widely used roundabout?
