Broken roads a worry for residents

Residents of Ward No. 26 are facing the problems of ill-maintained green belts, broken roads and poor lifting of garbage. They are also demanding a community centre or a marriage palace in their ward.

The residents highlighted their problems to the candidates contesting the MC poll. The Congress has given the ticket to Chitranjan Chanchal, the BJP has given a chance to Vinod Aggarwal, whereas the BSP has fielded Net Ram. Besides, Independents Anil Kumar, Charanjit, Narender Kumar and Amit are also in the fray. Residents of Ward No. 26 comprising Darshani Bagh, Subhash Nagar, Pipli Wala Town, Indira Colony and the Motor Market also demanded that quality of roads be improved in their ward. — TNS

THE TRIBUNE is free, objective, and independent. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language, are the hallmarks of the paper.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
