Abohar, May 14
The Railway Board today announced that 14712/11 Sriganganagar-Haridwar-Rishikesh express train has been rescheduled as per request. The train was initially launched on the Sriganganagar-Abohar-Bathinda-Haridwar route but was extended to Rishikesh last year. The Railways suffered heavy revenue losses as the train passed through Abohar at 1.20 am and reached Sriganganagar at 2.30 am. The Railways said today the train would now go up to Haridwar. It will leave Sriganganagar by 4.10 am to reach Haridwar at 1.25 pm. Its return trip will start after half an hour. — OC
