Chandigarh: Rajya Sabha MP Partap Singh Bajwa on Wednesday said the police had failed to arrest Akali workers who had "attacked" Congress workers during a rally in Ajnala three days ago. Bajwa said Ajnala MLA Amarpal Singh Bonny, who allegedly led the attack, had not been arrested for instigating the Akali workers. Later, Bajwa staged a dharna at the Ajnala police station to press for his demand. Three Congress workers were injured in the attack. The rally was held under the leadership of District Congress Committee (rural) chief Gurjeet Aujla when a group of youths attacked party workers. TNS
