At a tender age of 10 years, Ashesh Arora has made a community application on his own. The speciality of the application is that it is hacking proof, with advanced chat-friendly features.
Ashesh Arora, who studies in Class V in Delhi Pubilc School, is tech savvy, honing his skills on his parents’ smart phones and computer.
When he got to know of hackers’ threat to community apps, he decided to make a hacker-proof app, which he has given the name Drike.
The app, Drike, is now available on play store for download. It has an option of adding 200 members in a single group, high speed texting, advanced features and emoticons.
“Drike has stickers in both Hindi and English language and the user can click and edit his or her photo, which can also be used in form of comic stickers,” Ashesh said.
His mother, Sonia Arora, said for the past three-four months, they had noticed him dedicating time to internet and smart phone, saying that he was making an application.
“We didn’t realise that he was quite serious about it. When he sought US $25, the amount needed to register with Google, we realised he had innovated something. It is a matter of pride that without seeking professional help he did this,” said Sonia.
Ashesh’s father Sandeep Arora said he wanted his child to have a software company of his own and also contribute to social causes when he makes it big.
