DD Urdu to air serial on Krishan Chander’s ‘Shikast’

DD Urdu will telecast a serial on Krishan Chander’s famous Urdu novel ‘Shikast’ from tomorrow.

The Urdu tele-serial named after the novel is produced and directed by Ravi Braroo.

Braroo while formally announcing the release of the 13-episode serial said it was based on a famous romantic novel of Krishan Chander.

“The entire serial is shot in Jammu and Kashmir,” Braroo said.

The serial will be telecast Monday to Friday on DD Urdu at 8 pm from tomorrow, which will be repeated at 11 pm and 12:30 the next day.

Sandeep Dhar and Sahiba Bhat are the associate directors. Rahul Sharma, Neha Lahotra, Vinay Raina, Rani Bhan, Shammi Malhotra and Janak Khajuria are the main actors.
