Haryana Tourism gears up to celebrate New Year''s eve

Haryana Tourism Department has drawn up slew of attractions at its select Tourist Complexes across the State to usher in the New Year, which includes belly dance by Russian artistes.

"Selected Tourist Complexes are gearing up to offer exciting bouquet of entertainment for its guests for New Year Eve celebrations," Vikas Yadav, Managing Director of Haryana Tourism Corporation said today.

"There would be a variety of entertainment programmes, delicious spread and drinks for visitors to enjoy at very nominal cost," Yadav was quoted as saying in on official release here.

"At Koel Tourism Complex in Kaithal, Russian artistes would stage belly dance and Punjabi performers would present entertaining programmes," he said, adding about 1,500 persons are expected to be a part of the function.

While DJ nite, dine and dance for couples would be the highpoint of the New Year Eve celebrations at Ethnic India at Rai in Sonepat, Aravalli Golf Course in Faridabad, is all set to celebrate in style with a live band, Yadav said.

"Snacks, drinks and dinner would be served at a cover charge of Rs 2,500 per couple," he said.

Shama Tourist Complex in Gurgaon, will be all decked up on the New Year's Eve and a special vegetarian buffet spread priced at Rs 450 per person would be laid for the guests, Yadav said.

Celebrations to mark the beginning of the New Year would be held at Tilyar Lake Tourist Complex at Rohtak, in the evening of January 1, he added. — PTI
