Traffic diversions were made outside Elante Mall and Centra Mall in the Industrial Area and Piccadilly in Sector 34.

Visitors were not allowed to park their vehicles inside the malls. The paid parking outside the Elante Mall was also closed for the visitors to avoid chaos. The visitors were asked to park their vehicles at some distance from the malls leading to traffic snarls on the internal roads of the Industrial Area.

The police were also deployed inside the malls anticipating that various Sikh organisations may protest inside the malls.

A senior police official said that no violence incident was reported in any part of the city following the screening of the movie.

Minor protest was witnessed at Sector 22 by a Sikh front.

Seven DSPs, 14 Inspectors and around 800 police personnel were deployed outside the multiplexes to ensure that no untoward incident took place.
