Budding singer commits suicide

Ludhiana, April 28

A 27-year-old budding singer, Deepak Kumar, alias Deepu Kakowalia, reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his house on Tibba Road here today.

The incident took place this morning when his mother was working in the kitchen and his wife had gone to the market.

When his mother entered the room, she was shocked to find her son hanging, said the police.

Deepak got married recently.
