Govt releases Rs 29 cr for DTC pensioners

Bringing cheer to a major chunk of former Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) employees, the Delhi Government today released the long pending dues to 12010 pensioners for this year's May and June.

Following directions of Transport Minister Gopal Rai, DTC has released a total of Rs 29. 64 crore for providing pension.

Rai said that Rs 14,53,15,668 has been released through ECS in the account of 12,010 pensioners for May along with a sum of Rs 15,11,13,384 for 12,137 pensioners for June.
