North-West BJP candidate for Lok Sabha elections Hans Raj Hans mesmerised the party activists and leaders at a get-together with media by singing a song "Aa ja re Modi tera rasta udeekdiyan".
As he sang the song on the stage, leaders started clapping giving indication for winning the Lok Sabha election. He was given ticket replacing sitting MP and Dalit leader Dr Udit Raj.
He said the entire world has recognised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the most popular leader in the world. "At the international level India is being respected. Our country has become the fastest growing economy and among the five largest economy of the world. Was it possible before 2014?, said Hans.
North-East Delhi BJP candidate Manoj Tiwari, who is chief of Delhi unit of the party, said that AAP convenor and Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, was misleading the people in the name of statehood. By raising this demand he wanted to hide administrative failure of his government.
Chandni Chowk candidate Harsh Vardhan said Modi was popular for DRDO's launching military satellites and for taking strong decision for surgical strike in Balakot and Uri in Pakistan side. Besides, development work was done in all fields during five-year rule of the BJP. Farmers, traders and serving class are happy with government policy.
New Delhi candidate Meenakshi Lekhi said the Opposition had no issue. It is misguiding people.
South Delhi candidate Ramesh Bidhuri said the AAP (Delhi) government had always created hurdle in his efforts of development work in the area. As he was honest, all the development work has been successfully done.
East Delhi candidate Gautam Gambhir said, "The BJP is the largest party in the world and I am very much impressed by the nationalistic thinking of this party. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working for the country without taking any rest. I have also made India proud in the field of cricket. My innings in politics is new and I want the same blessings of people of East Delhi in 2014 and I am confident that in 2019 the people of East Delhi will elect me as their MP."
