For the vacant seats at 11 colleges in the city, the second round of counselling has started for various courses.
In the MCM DAV College for Women, a few seats are lying vacant in BA in English (elective), economics, public administration, music (I), home science, fine arts, police administration, music (V), Sanskrit, Hindi and Punjabi. For national or state-level players, seats are available in physical education in BA.
In the GGDSD College, a few seats are vacant in BSc IT and BVoc courses. In Guru Gobind Singh College for Women (GGSCW), Sector 26, a few seats are still left in BCA, BSc (non-med/computer science), BA, MA (economics) and MA (english). In government colleges, the seats in BA courses are vacant and rest majority of the courses are full.
A few seats are left in different courses and students can still apply to get admissions. The students could apply with fresh applications said BK Vermani, Dean Admissions, DAV College, Sector 10.
