PU releases tentative merit list of BCom-I

Chandigarh, June 25

Panjab University (PU, Chandigarh, today released a tentative merit of BCom (first-year) for 12 city colleges. As per the merit list released today, the top score in the UT pool is 114.374. Last year, the top score was 113.8. Under the general pool, the top score is 113.4, which was 114.4 last year.

Students can file objections in the next two days and on June 29, the final merit list will be put up on display by the university.

The schedule for counselling, which will be held from July 1 to 14, will be released on June 28.

For boys, there are 350 seats at DAV College, Sector 10; 70 at the department of evening studies, PU; 350 at GGSD College, Sector 32; 140 at the Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Sector 50; 140 seats at Post Graduate Government College, Sector 46; 280 at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector 26; and 140 seats at Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11.

For girls, there are 140 seats at the Dev Samaj College for Women, Sector 45; 280 at the MCM DAV College for Women, Sector 36; 210 seats at the Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26; 140 at the Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11; 140 at the Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 42.
