5 Minerva players in India U-15 squad

Five players of the city-based Minerva FC were today picked for India U-15 probable squad.

Jagjeet Singh, Lalchhanhima Sailo, Parithoi Meetei, Thoiba Singh and Bhupati Chandara have been called for India U-15 squad by the All-India Football Federation (AIFF), the club said here today.

Last week, six U-16 players of the club were drafted into the India U-17 World Cup probable squad.

Minerva FC had earlier this month beat India U-17 World Cup probables 1-0, while it blanked India U-15 team 2-0 in Goa. — TNS
