Diana Penty is a successful model who made a splash with her debut in Cocktail a few years ago. She has another film coming up. Known for her long hair and slim figure, this actor-model talks about style and beauty
Simple philosophy
I believe in being simple, straightforward and confident. As a person, I gravitate towards happy and positive things, and that is the one philosophy I live by. I also like to surround myself with people I love; people I can trust and be myself with. That’s when I feel most happy and at peace, which reflects on the outside.
Day and night
Easy, fuss-free and minimalistic. I’m a natural make-up kind of person, especially for the day. I try to avoid foundation altogether—just a little concealer under my eyes, some kohl for definition and a subtle colour on my cheeks is the most I would do for the day. For a night event, I tend to go with a dark smoky eye and subtle mouth.
Crowning glory
Smoky eyes and colour on the cheeks is all it takes! Also, I feel the perfect hair can make or break any outfit. Whether you’re in your favourite blue jeans or an LBD, there’s a hairdo for everything.
Light and dark
My skin tone is not the easiest to match. There have been occasions where the foundation on my face has ended up being a shade or two lighter than my skin.
Beauty basics
Because my hair is so straight, I need to style it as much as I can—which means lots of prep. I have been using the Tresemmé Ionic strength shampoo and conditioner, and it has completely transformed my hair-care routine. I also cannot live without my Cetaphil moisturising lotion, my eyelash curler, an under-eye concealer, a brown eye pencil (I use it as kohl) and my current favourite lip colour—Jenna by Bobbi Brown.
