DEHRADUN: Teams of Uttarakhand boys will compete for the doubles title in the finals of the All-India Talent Series Tennis Tournament at Shanti Tennis Academy on Thursday.

Teams of Uttarakhand boys will compete for the doubles title in the finals of the All-India Talent Series Tennis Tournament at Shanti Tennis Academy on Thursday.

Teams of Dhruv Pal and Utkarsh Bhardwaj of Uttarakhand beat Mridul and Brijmohan of Uttar Pradesh 6-2, 6-3 in the semifinals today. Drona Valia and Mrityunjay of Uttarakhand beat Manav (Punjab) and Harshit (Delhi) 6-1, 6-2.

In the quarter-finals in the singles category, Dhruv Pal (Uttarakhand) beat Mridul (UP) 4-6, 6-0, 6-2.

Utkarsh Bhardwaj (Uttarakhand) beat Jayant (UP) 6-0, 6-2. Ankush Mishra (Punjab) beat Harshit Bansal (Delhi) 6-3, 6-4. Mrityunjay Badola (Uttarakhand) beat Arnav (UP) 6-1, 6-4. All the players qualified for the semifinals.
