LUDHIANA: Ludhiana Academy beat Muktsar 56-44 in a league match of the boys’ category of the Punjab State Youth Basketball Championship at Guru Nanak Stadium today.

Ludhiana, May 28

Ludhiana Academy beat Muktsar 56-44 in a league match of the boys’ category of the Punjab State Youth Basketball Championship at Guru Nanak Stadium today.

Meanwhile, in the first league match of girls’ category, Amritsar beat Mansa 46-13.

Other teams that qualified for league matches in boys’ category include Ludhiana District and Patiala. In the girls’ category, Ludhiana District and Sangrur qualified.

Earlier, in the boys’ qualifying matches, Ludhiana Academy (A) defeated Moga 43-21, Ludhiana District beat Fazilka 39-23, Muktsar beat Amritsar 40-24 and Patiala beat Jalandhar 63-50. — TNS
