Ludhiana, April 8
The Delhi police have registered a case against late industrialist Abhey Oswal’s elder son Pankaj, his wife Radhika and their accomplices for allegedly barging into a family company’s office in New Delhi and stealing key documents.
The business tycoon had died in Russia on March 29.
A case has been registered at the Barakhamba Road police station on the complaint of Parveen Chopra, manager at Oswal Greentech Limited. The charges include criminal trespass, theft and assault.
Parveen alleged that around 8 am on April 4, Pankaj accompanied by Radhika and armed men entered the company’s premises at Kasturba Gandhi Marg. He alleged that despite Pankaj having no stake in the company, he occupied Oswal Greentech’s office without authorisation from its board of directors.
The manager told the police that the Oswal couple sifted through the files and documents. The complainant alleged the accused took away confidential documents, including bank statements and financial files relating to the Aruna Abhay Oswal Trust.
