Dera Bassi: The body of an unidentified person was recovered from a well on the rear side of the Sadashiv Complex here on Saturday.

Dera Bassi: The body of an unidentified person was recovered from a well on the rear side of the Sadashiv Complex here on Saturday. According to sources, Brijveer Singh, owner of Sadashiv Complex, saw the body of a person in the well and informed the police about it. ASI Avtar Singh, posted at the Dera Bassi police station, said the identity of the deceased, who appears to be in mid-40s, was not known yet. The police sent the body to the Civil Hospital, Dera Bassi, for post-mortem. The body will be kept at the mortuary for identification. A case has been registered and the police are trying to trace the family members of the deceased. Further investigations are on. — OC
