The Haryana Government has decided to grant another three months for submission of applications for the conversion of residential plots for commercial use and regularisation of such illegal conversions in rehabilitation schemes, town planning schemes and improvement trust schemes located within municipal limits.
An official spokesman said owners of residential plots or commercial establishments falling in the rehabilitation schemes, town planning schemes and improvement trust schemes could now apply within three months for conversion or regularisation of their residential plots or illegal commercial establishments for commercial purposes.
The Haryana Government also issued orders that municipalities would not accept the change of land use (CLU) applications from any individual or company for projects with investment of more than Rs 10 crore and involving land more than one acre for areas falling in the conforming industrial zones of the published final development plan of the town.
The spokesman said in such cases, the applicant would be asked to apply online on the Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre portal.
